All Members:

I was advised this morning that members received an email from payroll services advising of an overpayment on the last pay period and stating that the employer would be taking the full amount from the next pay period. Upon that notification from members, I contacted the Manager of Human Resources, and after having a conversation, she stated that she would contact the Manager of Payroll to issue a new email.

Each member affected will receive a new email asking to make an arrangement to repay the amount in full, agreed upon repayment schedule per pay or as per our Article 26.11 in the Collective Agreement. Under that Article, members can repay the amount owed each pay period at 10% of the amount owed until the debt is paid in full.
