Canadian Conference Educational Bursary Program
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
The Canadian Conference of the International Union of Operating Engineers is now accepting applications for ten (10) educational bursaries valued at $1,000 each for dependents of IUOE members.
These bursaries are available to students entering or continuing full-time studies in a recognized Canadian college or university program that is at least two years in length.
Applications are available for members’ dependents across the following regions:
- Atlantic Canada
- Quebec & Ontario
- Saskatchewan & Manitoba
- British Columbia
- Alberta
Applicants must provide:
- Academic transcripts
- A letter of recommendation
- A 1,000-word essay outlining why the bursary would be beneficial or how being the dependent of a union member has impacted their life.
The application deadline is August 1st.
